Hindu Wedding at Parklands, Quendon Hall

We were sooooo excited when this day finally arrived, not only because we love Weddings but also because it was our first Asian Wedding!

Shruti and Alex chose the fabulous Quendon Park in Essex for their Asian-English fusion wedding. With 2 ceremonies, 2 changes of outfit and loads going on, we knew we were in for a busy day! The lucky couple got a perfect English summers day, which allowed for both of their ceremonies to be outside. The first overlooking the deer park (It seriously couldn’t get any better!) and the second behind the house by the lake. The hindu ceremony was so interesting and the priest was awesome with a fantastic sense of humour, explaining what was happening to the English side of the wedding, in both hindu and English and even a little nod to us every now and again to symbolise an important part coming up (I had already done my homework, but appreciated this anyway!). It was then a lightning quick change into English wedding attire for the civil ceremony, for which the couple were just as nervous, but equally as amazing!

This wedding was an absolute joy, both as a photographer but also on a more personal level! It really was a fabulous day – we felt truly welcomed by the entire wedding party and we can’t thank you enough for your kind hospitality and for choosing us as your wedding photographers. We’ll let the pictures do the talking on this one, but we had a hard time narrowing this down because of all the wonderful colours, events and amazing people! Enjoy! xx
