We have the privilege of being at Essex Wedding Venues year after year and therefore have photographed weddings at most of them. Unlike the guests, we get to see the real workings and goings on, experience the food, chat to the staff and hear all the stories.
Wedding Photography is an amazing career and we love it, but we do of course have our favourite Essex Wedding venues, which we get more excited about than others and here are our top 5 (and these are in no particular order as each are so different!).
Parklands, Quendon Hall
Now we may be a bit bias with this one as we actually got married here ourselves! Parklands is a beautiful wedding venue offering exclusive use to their guests, meaning the house is yours for the day! It’s deer park is full of wild deer and you get the best view of them as you enjoy your day infront of the fountain. The gardens are beautiful and makes for perfect wedding photography. The house inside is equally as stunning and the main guest bedrooms are ideal for getting ready and pre-wedding portraits. Whether you are having a wedding inside or out, Parklands has multiple options. We love the food here too and they always take care of us. Our favourite is the lamb shank! We are proud to be a preferred supplier for this gorgeous venue. Here is a few examples of our wedding photography at Parklands, Quendon Hall in Essex. 2. Gosfield Hall
Gosfield Hall. This Essex Wedding Venue has the most stunning bridal suite, full of gold, mirrors and gorgeous light! We also love the Grand Salon for wedding ceremonies – the room has gorgeous high painted ceilings and the light is amazing. The venue outside has manicured gardens and views over the Essex Countryside, again great for your wedding photography. The food is excellent here and the dining room is intimate and exquisite. It looks amazing when lit with candles. Here is a few examples of our wedding photography at Gosfield Hall in Essex.

3. Leez Priory
Leez Priory is full of character and an impressive castle like building. It’s a stunning restored building with lots to explore and beautiful options for your wedding photography. This venue allows fireworks so many couples choose to wow their wedding guests with a fireworks display and with the castle as a backdrop, this makes for incredible photos. The food here has always been yummy and we love the roast. The staff are always really great too. Here is a few examples of our Essex wedding photography at Leez Priory. We are proud to be a preferred supplier for this gorgeous venue.

4. Mulberry House
This stunning venue tops the list for gardens, wild flowers, manicured lawns and a bridge over the pond make this venue one of our favourite places to photograph weddings. It’s also lovely for your guests to enjoy a glass of bubbly or two! You can get married in the Mulberry Suite which is stunning. We’ve always had amazing food here and been treated really well as wedding suppliers. Here’s just a few images from Mulberry House

5. Blake Hall
Blake Hall, Essex is just a 15 minute drive from us and we always get a warm welcome when we shoot here. We love the period barn and you have a choice of getting married either inside or out. There is a really relaxed feel about this venue and again, it’s exclusive which means it’s yours for the day. Rachel is gluten free and they always look after her here! The food was so good once, she didn’t believe it was gluten free and went to the kitchen to check! Pretty gardens and lots of wedding photography options. Here are a few examples of our wedding photography at Blake Hall.
